Orange Felon Can't Tell Me What to Do

Words of Advice:

DONALD TRUMP IS A CONVICTED FELON. CASE CLOSED.

Why the FLOSS Wasn't Touching the Bible on Inauguration Day

This is the oath of office:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

This is what the Senile Sociopath-in-Chief said yesterday:

Welker [NBC]: Don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?

Trump: I don’t know.

Take that in for a second. He doesn't know if he needs to uphold the supreme law of the land. By his admission, there is an argument to be made for rolling tanks up to the White House and executing him on the south lawn for treason.

Elsewhere in the interview, he took the position that Constitutional rights can be withheld from people if it is too inconvenient for the government. That means that there are no rights, there are only privileges, which can be withheld if the government finds it inconvenient.

So, using Trump's own logic, the next presdient could declare an emergency of some sort to ban assault rifles.

To give him credit, he probably doesn't know what the Constitution is and has never read it. Still, when do we get to use the 25th amendment?

I listen to the FLOSS and it s loop in my brain...the man is an idiot.
His assumption of the power of the president is based on some
fantasy he's trying to make his reality. Its destructive. Impeach
him convict him and get rid of him.

He’s just getting us back to the original values this country had until those Commie so-called Founding Fathers got involved.

Funny typo, "*uphole* the supreme law of the land." I think he intends to do just that.

Maybe during the Victory Day, someone patriotic will remember Sadat.....

Well, to be fair, Walker didn’t ask about preserving, protecting, or defending the Constitution. Generalissimo Bonespurs never promised to uphold anything.

Funny how you didn't care when Biden and the people running him used the Constitution to wipe their feet when it was against people you didn't like. SO far Trump hasn't violated it.

But double standards and all that.

You'd have credibility if you applied the same metric both ways.

Ah, more nonspecific bullshit from a reliable right-wing manure-spreader.

Your Orange God said he doesn’t know if he has to follow the Constitution. That’s not spin or hype, those are his words.

Your whataboutism is pathetic.

B, here’s the quote.

When Welker tried to point out what the Fifth Amendment said, Trump suggested that such a process would slow him down too much.

“I don’t know. It seems — it might say that, but if you’re talking about that, then we’d have to have a million or 2 million or 3 million trials,” he said. “We have thousands of people that are — some murderers and some drug dealers and some of the worst people on Earth.”

“I was elected to get them the hell out of here, and the courts are holding me from doing it,” he added.

There you have it, from the horses mouth. Or another region, judging from the lack of respect for the Constitution, you can go with my remark above as perfectly explanatory to the situation Cheetolini finds himself in.
