A federal judge Tuesday abruptly postponed the sentencing of President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, declaring himself disgusted and disdainful of Flynn’s crime of lying to the FBI and raising the unexpected prospect of sending the retired Army lieutenant general to prison.A high-ranking Federal official would have to be a Grade-A Chowderhead to not understand that lying to a Federal agent is a felony.
Funny how the Right drops their law-and-order stance when it is one of their guys sitting at the defendant's table.
Trump is acting like a mob boss in his use of language.
If he is as innocent as the driven snow (to hear the Trumpanzees talk), he sure as fuck isn't acting like it.
Beyond that, let's not forget that it was at the order of a Republican president that illegal break-ins were conducted. In the case of Cohen's office, it was a lawful search that was authorized by a search warrant approved by a judge.
But don't expect either Trump or his acolytes to accept that distinction.

Note the use of the mob term (rat) for an informer who gives evidence to the authorities. In mob terms, an informer is a rat for telling the truth to the police, so Donnie’s use of the term is instructive. Me thinks the noose has tightened a bit, hence the sudden twitter screaming and ranting. Just wait till John Kelly sits down with Mueller in a few weeks, the howls will be deafening.
Donnie also doesn’t understand the law, and is too used to using lawsuits to enforce his will...suits he generally won by outspending his opponents (often small businesses or individuals). Now that he’s looking down the other end of the barrel, he’s flailing. He still hasn’t figured out that NDA’s can be breached due to observed criminal actions.
