Guilty AF!

A man who drove his car into a crowd of counterprotesters at a white nationalist rally in Virginia was convicted Friday of first-degree murder for killing a woman in an attack that inflamed long-simmering racial and political tensions across the country.

A state jury rejected arguments that [the Nazi Asswipe of Charlottesville] acted in self-defense during a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville on Aug. 12, 2017. Jurors also convicted [Asswipe] of eight other charges, including aggravated malicious wounding and hit and run.
Sentencing comes next week. His lawyer's pitch to the jury ought to be highly entertaining and the stuff of fiction, much like his defense was.

Glad to hear that you've flipped your view, B! You've come a long way from defending the guy:

"it does appear that the dude that ran folks over simply panicked. We don't know one way or another. when a mob surrounds your car and threatens you, folks tend to panic."

And, of course blaming the victims:

"Had those other folks not protested in a violent manner, at a rally they KNEW was gonna be violent, they'd not have been injured or killed. "

Thanks bmq215. I had remembered the gist of B's posts back then, but lacked any interest of digging them out. I'm glad you are made of sterner stuff than I.
