Beyond that, the idea that any one individual has equal negotiating power with large companies is an enduring conservative lie. It was false 120 years ago when the Supremes belched out their decision in Lochner v. NY and it is false now.

I suspect that the resulting “events” caused by millions (if not tens of millions) losing affordable treatment for their conditions, many of them terminal in a reasonably short time without treatment, would make being a politician in favor of this “policy” very unhealthy.
