Second Toljaso

Remember all of those Democratic activists who, during the first half of the Biden Administration, called for getting rid of the filibuster so shit could get done?

I wonder how they feel about the filibuster, now?

Toljaso.

Exactly! It would seem as if the founding fathers set up the government to move slowly on purpose. And for good reason. Ideas put into place in haste are often things that you live to regret.
And also Happy Veterans Day to all who served. I am able to write freely here due to both the benevolence of Comrade Misfit and the sacrifice made by our veterans who ensured our ability as a nation to continue free.

Speaking of Veterans Day, does one thinks it possible that since Veteran's Day was once Armistice Day that Trump could change it again to Suckers and Losers Day? Since he likes naming things after himself.

I would like to think that the people currently in control are wise enough to resist the temptation when they want to "get things done", but I see no evidence to support this.
