A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",
that the 2020 election was stolen, or
especially if you supported the 1/6/21 insurrection,
leave now.

Same same; it never gets old!
What is the name of the airplanes on your page? They are really beautiful.
Same here... As a kid I watched Redstones and Atlas go boom on the pad.
Now I watch to see the finer successes like getting the booster back and
maybe even more of the costly parts. It is not magic, it is science and
careful study. And no, it can't get old.
Eck!
Barney, they're Stinson Reliants.
I watched this today also. I particularly enjoy how enthusiastic the staff is, like they all like it as much as we do.

I was 9 in 62 (we also got to survive the Cuban Missile Crisis that year!).
I turned 16 when Apollo 11 landed on the moon.
Thankful I've seen all these cool space flights and probes like Voyager. Have a college friend that works at CalTech/JPL on the Spitzer Space Telescope.
And I got to see the First Flight of Space Shuttle Columbia.
I feel extremely lucky to have experienced these positive examples of human adventure...

That's the BLock 5 version too, the final iteration of the Falcon 9 (it has the large black markings). NASA requires a rocket's design to be locked down and flown for a certain number of flights before it can certified for human spaceflight. Hopefully, soon, folks will once again be riding to space off of American soil.
How do you get to Mars? One step at a time....
