This Day Just Go a Little Sadder.

Bob Newhart, the deadpan accountant-turned-comedian who became one of the most popular TV stars of his time after striking gold with a classic comedy album, has died at 94.

The finale of his second series is one of the best moments of comedy on television since Carol Burnett's "Went With the Wind".

He will be missed.

I remember that show. Like many others it was well done and notable.

I always liked it when Suzanne Pleshette batted her eyes before delivering her line.

My dad had his comedy albums when I was a kid in the 60s. I think we wore them out. If you've never heard them, give them a listen. You'll be glad you did.
