Transgendered? Don't Apply for a Passport

The State Department has paused the processing of passport applications for transgendered people.

What this means is that the State Department is holding their documents. Birth certificates, medical documentation, marriage licenses, everything. Which the applicants won't get back, probably for a very long time.
