One has to wonder if that is Trump's strategy. Put forth nominees that are so extreme they have no chance of getting approved. Then when he puts forth candidates who are still extreme, but not as extreme as those first put up for nomination, that the Senate confirms them as the lesser of two evils.
The House is in his pocket. The Senate is next.
Will Trump have the Senate stump broke before the coronation? Sounds like a forecasting and betting question.

Pigpen51, didn't he do some of that in 2016? It would be a smart (?) move for Trump to put a swastika armband wearing nominee out first. Then the one that just has a confederate flag flying at home and a closet full of white robes wouldn't look so bad. Trump does know how to manipulate by constant delays and stalling, like in court in court, and exhausting those who have to deal with him until they give up and he gets what he wants.

Nah, they'll all get in. He wants to recess appoint them so they don't make a big splash in the media (he lives for TV) and so he can once and for all claim complete ownership of his party. They might ruin the country? Who cares!
