Via Tam, clowns in Memphis who openly carry guns and who have had them stolen from them.
Connecticut just banned open carry. I don't believe that's going to pass legal muster, but other than that, meh. Open carry's generallly not a thing in most of the state. But I did live where it was and it was not unusual to see some older guy carrying a Glock in a cheapo Uncle Mike nylon belt holster. I've seen guys sitting at the counter at a diner with a gun on their belt; all one would have to do is clock them from behind with a sugar dispenser and grab the gun.
Open carry for non-uniformed people is an IQ test: If they're out in public and they're openly carrying a handgun, assume that the number isn't approaching three digits.

Yeah but if you convert to metric......
We have open carry in Michigan but it's rare to see someone doing that. Not including the bunch of Camo wearing meal Team Sixers that were protesting at the Capitol because of Covid restrictions. The two I have been near in stores can be described as a little guy with a big belt buckle that could be out wrestled and gun taken away by a 98 pound six grader. The other was what I call a Sgt. Zackto type, jacked up pickup, trophy wife, tactical knee holster, camo vest, flat top haircut and going into the Lowes to impress people, I assume. Or he was afraid of what the 2x4's might be up to.
