Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial will roll ahead next week after the former president lost a bid Friday to halt the proceedings while he fights a pretrial ruling that could strip him of Trump Tower and other marquee properties.
An appeals court judge rebuffed Trump’s push to pause the New York trial, but agreed to leave him in control of his holdings for now. The decision, after an emergency hearing Friday afternoon, came five days into the closely watched trial.
The only thing he got was what the state had already agreed to: Not canceling his business licenses until the trial is over. But his lawyers are proclaiming that to be a great victory. Because bullshit and spin are all they have.
Meanwhile, Mike Lindell can't pay his lawyers. He built a multi-million dollar business and threw it all away because he fell into the TOFF's orbit. Becoming associated with the TOFF is like being touched by King Midas, if everything he touched turned to shit.
