Did you see Dan Savage's advice column where he said "Don't fuck Nazis"?
"Don't fuck Nazis.
If someone you just met tells you they're a Nazi, don't fuck that Nazi. If you're already fucking someone and they reveal themselves to be a Nazi, stop fucking that Nazi. If someone tells you they're a Nazi and you fuck that Nazi anyway and then keep fucking that Nazi because they're so goddamn good at sex (for a Nazi), your effort to "gently guide" that Nazi away from being a Nazi doesn't make it okay to fuck that Nazi."

Lately I have taken to boycotting the businesses that let them in the door.
AAAANND Free Speech at it's finest.
Both ways.
The owner can do what he wants with his money. And the patrons and employees can do that with the business as well.
No one ever said Free Speech should be without consequences.
As long as it is allowed, then the chips fall where they will.
I strongly support their right to give the donations. And I strongly support the fact that their patrons left 'em too.
If someone didn't want to publicly admit to being a Duke supporter, could they get away with using another name? How about someone nasty enough to be willing to donate to Duke who wants to cause trouble for someone else? I don't actually know, but I'd like a bit more evidence than "name showed up on a list". Maybe there's more proof than I'm aware of, maybe it's harder to fake a donation than I believe--in that case, freedom shouldn't mean free from consequences.
