I do have a gripe about this video: It has too many shots that look towards the left side of the locomotive. The interesting side of a Shay is the right side, so you can see the running gear working on this three-truck Shay.

Where's Uncle Joe? It's moving kinda slow. At the Junction.
Logging locomotive never moved quickly. They were designed for low-speed work on rough track.
Geez, if one didn't know what a Shay was before seeing this vid, they'd have precious little idea after. 15 seconds of the drive train in a ten minute clip is pretty sad, and nothing but the left side until half way through.
If someone went through life never seeing the starboard side of a Shay, they'd die wondering what all the excitement was about.
