In Case You Thought that "Defund the Cops" Was a Woke/Dem Thing, Here Comes One of the Craziest Women in Congress to Prove You Wrong

Republican Rep. Andy Biggs, the current chair of the right-wing House Freedom Caucus, appeared last week at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and also explored some of the goals he’d like to see his party prioritize if they’re in the majority next year — particularly when it comes to law enforcement.

“There are things you can do,” the Arizonan said, reflecting on Congress’ power. Biggs added, “You start defunding some of these bad agencies. The FBI. The DOJ.”

Funny how, whenever law enforcement strays from its historic mission of keeping those people under thumb, the Right starts bleating about how unfair it is for the cops to do their job when they start investigating right-wing and powerful white guys.

Biggs and Greene would probably want to throw a ticker-take parade for the cops who killed George Floyd and the three white guys who killed Armaud Abery.

Anyway, my belief on this matter is that there were likely some extraordinary circumstances and evidence that justified executing a search of such political sensitivity. If obtaining a search warrant under normal circumstances requires a showing of probable cause, obtaining this one probably required showing that it is more likely than not that the TOFF has committed a crime and that more evidence would be found in a search.

Of course, to buy the current conservatives rantings on this (Miss Lindsey, Gym Jordan, etc.), you'd have to believe that the FBI is a hotbed of woke agents, that the TOFF has never committed a crime in his life and that the current FBI Director isn't the guy who was appointed by Napoleon Bonespurs after he fired James Comey. None of which are true. El Caudillo de Mar-a-Lago claims to be the most persecuted person in American history, which, no doubt, the shades of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. T.R.M. Howard, Ethel Rosenberg and Robert Oppenheimer would find amusing.

If You Have Insulin-Dependent Diabetes, the Republicans Would Rather Fuck You Over Than Take the Chance of Joe Biden Claiming That He Did Something to Help You

Make no mistake about it, that's exactly what happened today, when the budget package passed the Senate:

The bill also caps Medicare patients’ costs for insulin, the expensive diabetes medication, at $35 monthly. Democrats wanted to extend the $35 cap to private insurers but it ran afoul of Senate rules. Most Republicans voted to strip it from the package, though in a sign of the political potency of health costs seven GOP senators joined Democrats trying to preserve it.

No doubt Ted Cruz and Moscow Mitch were fist-bumping each other on the Senate floor because they fucked over diabetics.

Russian Interference Continues

Last month, I mentioned that indictments have been handed down, alleging Russian funding American political groups to increase discord in this country.

Well, it seems that the grpup was a bunch of far-right "calexit" lunatics, helmed by an alleged American troll who lived for years in Russia before he may have taken Russian money and moved back to California to do Putler's dirty work. Said troll is bleating that he hasn't been indicted, but it would seem that the qualifier "yet" needs to be implied in his denials.

So, if you've been promoting the secession idea in California, congratulations: Whether or not you knew it, you've been doing Putler's work. If you don't immediately stop, you're a treasonous fuck.

If You Are a Woman of Child-Bearing Years, and/orIf You Are Related to a Woman of Child-Bearing Years, If You Vote Republican, You Are Stabbing Them in the Back.

Almost every woman that I know who has had children had one or more miscarriages. This is what I fear will happen: Any woman who has a miscarriage or a stillbirth will have that event reported to law enforcement. Detectives and the prosecutors will look at the case and, if they have even a hint of suspicion that something didn't go right that could have been averted by the mother-to-be, they will press charges.

Didn't take the right vitamins? Missed a neo-natal care appointment? Maybe had a few drinks or used non-prescription drugs? Be ready for a manslaughter or even murder beef.

It has happened already. It will get worse in those states that are trying to bring about their twisted version of a theocracy.

If you are a woman and you think you may be pregnant, you should consider fleeing to a free state. If you are running a company that needs to recruit more people, you may want to think about not opening or expanding your operations in states like Indiana, Missouri, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Ohio, etc.

ETA: Word is that medical recruiters trying to fill OB/GYN positions in abortion-ban states are finding it harder to recruit people.

Tens of thousands of cases of war crimes committed by Russian soldiers have been identified in Putler's war. Over three thousand were committed in Bucha, alone.
