I had a chance to buy one in the `90s for far less than what PT-17s were selling for. Most of the time, I'm glad that I didn't. But it would have been fun.

Beautiful restoration! And it's interesting watching it go downwind, and the blade tops 'sparking' in the sunlight.
It is a cool airplane. Distinctive low RPM putt-putt radial sound, even at full throttle. The local CAF chapter has one - visits our grass strip once in a while.
