U.S. intelligence agencies confirmed that Hamas and another Gaza terrorist organization were using al-Shifa Hospital as a command center, according to newly declassified material.
The U.S. intelligence indicates that the hospital was made a legitimate target thanks to the maze of tunnels and rooms constructed beneath it for terrorist use, the New York Times reported. The Israeli military came under heavy criticism for its military offensive against the hospital in November.
A senior U.S. intelligence official told the Times that not only did Hamas use it as a command post, but they also used it to detain "at least a few hostages."
"The U.S. Intelligence Community is confident in its judgment on this topic and has independently corroborated information on HAMAS and PIJ’s use of the hospital complex for a variety of purposes related to its campaign against Israel," the declassified material stated, according to the Associated Press. Those uses, it said, included "to house command infrastructure, exercise certain command and control activities," and store weapons.
I am inclined to believe it, though I am mindful that the American intelligence agencies lied through their teeth about the justification for the Iraq War. There were no mobile biological warfare labs, no centrifuge tubes, no WMDs, and no link between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda. All lies and, at best, half-truths put out to justify a war of aggression. (For which nobody's been held to account.)
Maybe they're right about this. But still, once a thieving cocksucker, always a thieving cocksucker.

They stovepiped raw intelligence to get the ‘intelligence’ reports for their justification. They PUMA stuff for the lapdog press stenographers to report, so the public would be more inclined to believe it as fact. Rumsfeld “known unknowns and unknown unknowns” blather with Powells ‘testimony’ really shows the spectrum of the BS the administration was shoveling to legitimize the war. So yeah, unless the information comes from credible sources, I’m not inclined to believe it.
I have always thought that Sadam Hussein did not have WMD's. But he wanted to stay strong and feared in his role as leader of Iraq. So he encouraged the idea the he did indeed have weapons of mass destruction, in order to cause fear in the eyes of his enemies.
It has been said that he used chemicals to kill his own people in the Kurdish areas. The way that I think we know that to be true is because American 3 letter groups sold them to him.
It has always seemed strange to me the 17 of the 19 terrorists on 9/11 came from Saudi Arabia, yet we first invaded Afghanistan, then Iraq. I know that Iraq has oil, but only recently found out that Afghanistan was rich in lithium. No doubt Dick Cheney knew both, and he was always ready to invade Iraq.
While I am not impressed with Kamala Harris, I would prefer her as VP to Dick Cheney. He is much more slimey than any VP going all the way back to Agnew.
The Israelis knew that there were tunnels under that hospital because they built them in 1983.
How they knew what they were being used for by Hamas is questionable.
