Supposedly the distributors have them and they'll be released to the dealers on January 2nd. RUMINT is that the parts are not MIM.
I expect that they'll be pricey and will initially sell for well over MSRP of whatever it is.
I would like a 4", but to be fair, I don't know what it will do that my S&W 686 won't do and, as for a 6" gun, my Model 27. So do I need one? Nope.
Do I want one? Betcherass.

Very interesting... supposedly one will show up down in this area.
It was about 1978 and I was working in the woods in Oregon. Day off, I stopped in a local gun store and there they had a 6 inch Python. The double-action trigger was like melted butter. I will always remember that. I could have put it on the card but I was trying to be good.
And I have never forgiven myself since.
