We may or may not get stuck with the F-35 yet... the new government campaigned on NOT buying that thing, but they are now backtracking on a lot of promises, so this may prove to be another one... lobbyists are strong up here and like the US, a lot of them are retired Air Force generals and ex fighter jocks.
