Journalist's Guide to Piper Aircraft

Based on what I've read, this would seem to be accurate.

The correct model names, top to bottom, are Archer, Saratoga, Seneca, Mirage and Meridian.

This, by the way, is a Piper Cub:

Most were equipped with the mighty A-65 engine (65hp). Piper made over 19,000 of them, most during World War II. Piper Cubs were last produced in 1947.

The Super Cub, ultimately with an engine nearly three times as as powerful as the J-3, was produced by Piper from the late 1940s into the 1990s, with some interruptions. You can still buy a new one, though not from Piper, though the price is a quite a bit higher than the $2,500 that a postwar Cub originally sold for.

I have to ask. What is the plane at the front of your blog? They are beautiful machines.
I do enjoy your commentary.

Shouldn't the Stealth Bomber be on your list of Piper Cubs?
