The Moocher Class

Remember when Republicans used to claim that anyone who didn't pay taxes was a moocher? Well, it seems that is no longer operative, as now such a moocher is deemed to be "savvy" and a "genius".

A rich fucker who doesn't pay taxes is a leech, a moocher, a parasite. He's not a fucking genius, he's a grifter.

And you can bet your sweet ass that if Hillary Clinton hadn't paid any taxes in two decades, the same scum-sucking weasels who are stumbling over their own feet to praise Donald the Grifter would bet taking to the airwaves and TWitter to condemn her.

Understated is the fact that thousands and thousands of people lost their jobs and thousands of investors lost their money due to Trump's "genius".

So he took advantage of a rule that let him carry his losses forward. It didn't mean that he didn't pay taxes for the next 20 years. (we really don't know, actually, 'cause they are inferring that he only made enough to pay 2 million a year, but we don't know, do we?) Don't get caught uop in a biased story without checking your facts.

Bet he paid more in taxes since then than you and any 10 of your friends.

Most businesses have a loss year here and there. Most of us that own a business use that rule "Loss, carry forward". it offsets the crushing taxes many businesses pay the other years.

He's still done more for the economy in the past 20 years than Hillary. Jobs, income taxes, excise, property taxes, etc.

Try not to let your hate for him overcome your perception of reality.

Well, he could easily demonstrate that, couldn't he?

B, considering that the Right is letting their hatred for Clinton blind themselves to the deep faults in character of Trump, well, you got a lot of gall, my friend.

Your side has chosen everything that it professes to hate: A man who dodged the draft, cheated on two of his wives, and has used the levers of state power to crush people less powerful than he.

But "it is OK if you're a Republican" has never proven truer than this election cycle.

B said...

See, and that is where you are wrong.

We are aware of the faults in Donald Trump.

It is just that we are aware of even greater and more numerous faults in Hillary.

We *know* that Hillary WILL screw up the US and sell her office to the highest bidder.

Trump only MIGHT screw up the country.

Again, we have been handed a dogs breakfast. Gotta pick the lesser of the two weasels here.

Trump is, sadly, the lesser evil.

I'd vote Democrat if there was a candidate that didn't scare me more than Trump does.

I KNOW Hillary is a danger to my rights and to my Country. I only FEAR that Trump will be.

Umm, B?
You said, "It is just that we are aware of even greater and more numerous faults in Hillary."
I'm not going to get into whether having an e-mail server in your basement is a greater fault than, say, ripping off thousands of people who paid thousands to the so-called "Trump University" to get universally Trumped. But "more numerous?"
How many, by actual count is that? And show your work by naming them all.

Yours very crankily,

Yeah, if a Methodist who has devoted her entire adult life to the service of her country is more of a threat than Roy Cohn's protege then I must be doing it wrong or something.

Whitewater, Vince Foster, All those poor women she trashed in order to protect Bill after they discussed his sexual issues with women.

The Thomas Taylor case shows her character

She wants to take all firearms from the citizens of the United States. She will put the US laws under the United Nations rules....(Her words again). For her, the Constitution is just an impediment to her aim of an ever larger government. She is a socialist, (as long as she and hers are on top).

She has proven she is for sale.

The Email case is disturbing. Not only her handling of Classified documents, but the fact that she did so only because it was inconveneint to not use her email server. The fact that she used the server just to avoid FOIA and other acts that could show the deals she was making.

The fact that she lied about it, that she and her family obviously had enough connections to get Comey to not charge her....the fact that Lynch and Bill just happened to r in Phoenix and happened to have a private conversation......in summertime. Ina separate plane. That just happened to be sitting there, with the AC on and all facilities set for a meeting. Just so they could "chat about their grandchildren"......Just before the decision on her being charged with mishandling of the classified data....which would have gotten you, or me 10 years in prison.

And the fact that the press let it happen. That is the scary part.

you want more? I can go and show more if you'd like. There is LOTS more.....But I'd rather not clog your comments with such a long list. Especially when your liberal readers don't care, as long as she is the annointed one from the DNC.

THese two candidates may

B said...

well be the worst two we have ever had to choose from. Bad and worse.....and that sucks.

The New York Crank said...

B, most of what you're listing is made up, bogus, or downright batshit crazy.

Exactly what did Whitewater prove? Nothing? If she had been proven to have committed a crime, she'd be ini jail.

Vince Foster? He committed suicide. There is no credible evidence to the contrary,

The women she trashed? Good for her. They knew they were having affairs with someone else's husband. Hillary stood by her man. Unlike Trump's wives, who took the alimony and ran.

Thomas Taylor? She was appointed to defend the guy by the judge in the case and had no choice but to take it. Had she blown it, she'd have been guilty of malpractice. You may not like the results, but that's what good lawyers do.

She wants to take "all the firearms from the citizens of the United States?" She me where she said that.

I assume your remark about "putting all the U.S. laws under United Nations rules" is also not true. A few laws — pertaining to war crimes — would compete with the UN to see who has the jurisdiction to try and imprison a war criminal first. Big Effin Deal.

"the fact that Lynch and Bill just happened to r in Phoenix and happened to have a private conversation......in summertime. Ina separate plane. That just happened to be sitting there, with the AC on and all facilities set for a meeting. Just so they could "chat about their grandchildren"......" This is jibberish. As so are you.

Sorry, some of the preceding was written in white heat, which created some typos. The offending parts should have read:

(NYC - you were only white hot when reading B's comments?) B's sophistry and hubris to prop up support for a blathering demagogue makes me blue hot!

Regarding Trump:

Meteor Blades (Daily Kos) has a great quote in his signature line - "Don't tell me what you believe, show me what you do and I will tell you what you believe. "

He has consistently shown the world that he utterly lacks any morals or ethics. When I see him treat everyone with common civility, respect, and empathy, then I might reconsider his status as a human being. So far he hasn't shown me that he has earned it in any way. The "Don"ald would love nothing other than to be king of the world and have us all pay homage to his "greatness". If you don't, it's will be the dungeon or worse for you.

Trump:

Wakes up in the middle of the night to take to Twitter over his butthurt about a beauty queen.

Can't forget a slight, even if it means picking a fight with a Gold Star family.

Cheated on his first wife with the woman who became his second wife. Cheated on her with the woman who became his third wife. Beat up and raped his first wife.

Six corporate bankruptcies, all from his scheme to get suckers to buy into a business, cash out and then leave the businesses holding the bag.

Set up a fake university to grift Federal student loan money.

Discriminated against minorities in renting apartments, repeat offender.

Inherently racist, thinks only white male judges can decide his cases.

Has the highest "pants on fire" rating of any known politician".

Has been for gun control, including the assault weapons ban, now against it.

Was for the Iraq War, then denied being for it.

Draft dodger.

Routinely cheats his subcontractors and vendors.

Sues people who say bad things about him. Wants to gut the First Amendment to make it easier for him to do that.

Loves the takings clause of the Fifth Amendment when its used to benefit private developers, such as, you guessed in, Donald Trump. Thinks Kelo v. City of New London was decided correctly. Tried to kick a woman out of her home and take her property so he could have a parking lot for limos.

Routinely quotes and retweets from white supremacists. Refuses to disavow same. Has his eldest son working as a liaison to the white supremacist and neo-nazi movements.

Admires Vladimir Putin.

Uses his charity for his benefit (pay legal costs, buy expensive knick-knacks for his office).

Doesn't donate to his own charity, claims personal credit for the donations made by the charity. Is in trouble in New York for not bothering to do the paperwork to keep his charity legal.

Pays less in personal income taxes than his maids (or anybody else).

Routinely insults women, minorities and disabled people.

Appeared in a porn movie.

Broke the Cuban embargo.

Dealt with Iranian companies suspected of supporting terrorism.

Hiding his tax returns, probably because they show that he's in bed with the Russians and that he doesn't make the money he says and/or that he's probably teetering on financial failure.

Sees nothing wrong with using nuclear weapons.

Has the attention span and the intellectual curiosity of a juvenile labradoodle.

Not only is he not a man of his word, he isn't a man of his contracts.

Anyone who trusts Trump is a damned fool.

BTW, Vince Foster didn't commit suicide. He somehow must have transported himself to the park after he was shot...he wasn't shot in the park. Look it up. Isn't hard to find the facts if you care to.

No one bothered to look at her conduct re:Whitewater. Odd that she just happened to make all that money innit? And all that power she used to help those folks...Just a coincidence wasn't it?

http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Hillary_Clinton_Gun_Control.htm

Let me be clearer about the Phoenix meeting:

Isn't it strange that both Lynch and Bill "Coincidentally" met up in phoenix and spend several hours having a conversation about grandchildren.....That is the meme presented by the media.
Reality: They met up in the heat of the day, and each moved to third plane that was prepped...air conditioned and stocked with water and snacks (and swept for bugs).....not a room in the airport, as implied. They spend nearly 2 hours having a "chat about grandchildren" in their spare time....THE DAY BEFORE THE DECISION WAS ANNOUNCED ON WHETHER HILLARY WOULD BE CHARGED WITH MISHANDLING CLASSIFIED DATA....

And yes, I too dislike Trump. As I said, I expect him to be a bad president. I don't like him. I just don't like Hillary even more.

Trump is many things, but he isn't evil nor is he for sale.

Can't say the same about Hillary.

You can find everything I stated here with a few minutes of googling....If you bother to look for the truth. If you just want to believe that Trump is evil and Hillary is as pure as the wind driven snow, then don't bother. Reality is for those who care to see it. Hopes and dreams and political partisanship are like religious beliefs...you cannot make those who wish not to, see reality.

I do want to apologize for taking so much space in your comments, Ms Misfit.

Oh, please. Government/ civil service is maybe the easiest way to make a living extant. I'm sure easy money is more of a factor than "serving the country".

Didn't know that the right-wingers are still obsessed over Vince Foster. So I learned something today.

Lots of people dislike HRC, me among them. But usually it's because of things she's done in this space-time continuum. Clinton is going to take everyone's guns away?!?! How? When did she ever say anything remotely similar to this?

The right-wingers have willingly self-lobotomized.
