Rerailing a locomotive:


It was a lot easier when dealing with HO gauge!

NKP 765 was one of the "Super Power" line of locomotives made by Lima Locomotive Works.

Wow! I'm a long time rail fan, steam especially, and I've never seen this stuff. A tender separated from its loco is just never seen outside a shop. I've never seen (or been aware of) those rerailers before.

Those six foot long bars used to pry and lever stuff around? I have one of those. A former neighbor worked in MoW on the Burlington and passed one of them along to me. Serious iron for a DIYer.

Yeah, the 0-5-0 switcher in HO is a lot easier!
