[The Great Orange Shitbag] said Sunday that he was ordering tariffs, visa restrictions and other retaliatory measures to be taken against Colombia after its government rejected two U.S. military flights carrying migrants.
Trump said the measures were necessary because the decision of Colombian President Gustavo Petro “jeopardized” national security in the U.S.
“These measures are just the beginning,” [von Shitzinpantz] wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “We will not allow the Colombian Government to violate its legal obligations with regard to the acceptance and return of the Criminals they forced into the United States.”
Earlier Sunday, Petro said his government would not accept flights carrying migrants deported from the U.S. until the [Felon's] administration creates a protocol that treats them with “dignity.” Petro made the announcement in two X posts, one of which included a news video of migrants reportedly deported to Brazil walking on a tarmac with restraints on their hands and feet.
“A migrant is not a criminal and must be treated with the dignity that a human being deserves,” Petro said. “That is why I returned the U.S. military planes that were carrying Colombian migrants... In civilian planes, without being treated like criminals, we will receive our fellow citizens.”
If the task was merely to transport people being expelled, a passenger plane would do. But the Criminal-in-Chief loves the optics of migrants in chains being frog-marched onto military planes and then chained down like animals. Because to both him and the Right, cruelty is the point. Even if it costs $10K/head.
You can bet the farm that if there was a rail line running to Colombia, that the Fat Orange Felon would be order that people being expelled be crammed into boxcars and hauled back that way.
Don't be surprised if China offers to step into the breach as a reliable trading partner for every country that has a beef with the Senile Orange Shitbird.
And expect that the FBI/DEA agents working in much of Latin America will be on airplanes back home.
Also, oranges are going to be a lot more expensive. 75% of the fruit-pickers in California didn't show up for work.

And now all Americans will soon begin to feel the pain in the pocketbook caused by the election of the guy who said he’d ’lower grocery prices’ when elected. Any extra money earned by families will be spent on the increase in food prices. And any discretionary income will dry up, causing less spending in other areas of the economy (Entertainment, Transportation, Consumer goods, etc). The businesses in those areas will see less revenue, resulting in layoffs and/or price increases. Which will then result in higher unemployment, more people/families on federal and state assistance, and a greater strain on public assistance programs. Get ready for the upcoming recession, brought to you by the voters who believed the promises made by Trump; the felon, the liar, the adjudicated rapist.
