So all that stuff that Trump said about al-Baghdadi was crying and whimpering as he died turned out to be a lot of horseshit that Trump made up.
An American triumph in fighting terrorism has, once again, been subverted by Trump into being all about him. He lied about predicting 9-11, lied about being against the Iraq. He just lies all the time.
Meanwhile, Republicans are smearing a decorated military officer because he is showing loyalty to the United States, not to Donald Trump. The Republicans are basically running a cult of personality. Which is too much for at least one Republican.

He sure does! And when he tells his whoppers, when he spits in the face of deranged lunatics and hysterics, when he slaps Stretch Pelisi around like the cunned stunt that she is... the gods and the people smile upon him.
You’ve had it far too easy for years, Comrade. For years you and yours have done the exact same things, and you’ve gotten away with it because you’re women, or your vibrant, or you’re sexually disturbed - and protected by an artificial climate of political correctness. We’d let you get away with it too, telling ourselves it was noble to be tolerant and civil with cretins that had no intention of reciprocating, or just to avoid a fight with stupid people. We can’t afford to let people like you and Pelosi sit at the adult’s table anymore. Trump’s message to the left is clear: fuck you right back, Comrades!
Just a heads up to the Usual Suspects. You *might* want to consider growing up and getting in the game because we are sick of your shit. If you don’t like Trump... wait’ll you see the next guy.
Cheers!
oh, really? The Batshit Right has traded in conspiracy theory, character assassination and outright murder for years, and you have the gall to say that you clowns are being "nice" and "tolerant"?
It is to laugh.
Trump will end his days in prison.
The coup and witch hunt against DJT is not a conspiracy theory. There are at least 3 books out already documenting the coup. I've read 1000's of pages of testimony, emails, etc. To think otherwise is just sticking your head in the sand.
But until someone goes to jail, I just shake my head at the ignorance of so many. The deep state is grasping at straws and have been for a while. Now they are in full panic mode, making up rules as they go. And some here are ok with that.
DJT will expose it all. He's playing with the Deep state, as only he can do. Never stop someone who keeps digging their own hole. The Deep state would rather ruin the country than be exposed.
Looks like the inmates got access to the computers again. Jim is right, in that the Republicans are now regretting the rules they established are now leading to the downfall of their favorite capo. So, keep tossing with this fever dreams, the truth is even uglier.
As for Glenn’s misogyny, if you’ve visited the sewer he calls a blog, you’d be unsurprised.
CP88, you are right also. The truth is even uglier. Russian collusion went nowhere. Ukraine collusion has gone nowhere. Impeachment will go nowhere. That's the truth, not some fever dream. In your dreams, Trump is going down any day now. 3 years and still waiting. The evidence is out there, It just hasn't been found yet. You can't win playing checkers when your opponent is playing chess.
The slightest investigation by you would show the Ukraine fiasco involves the corrupt deep state colluding with the corrupt Ukraine govt. Including Romney. All you see is orange man bad.
Gee Jim sure sorry about them lowering the door heights in your house.
Jim, if you really want to sell America to the Russians, you should get a better price than a handful of magic beans. Your willful blindness is only exceeded by Donnie’s corruption and greed, do tell how you want America to go back to the 50’s...probably the 1850’s.
3 years and they got nothing on DJT. Yet, evidence abounds regarding the deep state. You ignore it all, and keep pushing Russia, Russia, Russia.
If there was anything to convict DJT, they wouldn't hesitate to do so. Ever ask yourself why they haven't. Russia...nothing. Ukraine...nothing. Impeachment...nothing. 3 years and nothing, yet I'm the blind one. Ukraine greed and corruption is more than evident with the deep state. Open your eyes to the facts and evidence. There is proof of that. Nothing points to DJT. 3 plus years of treasonous activity by CIA, DOJ, FBI...all documented and coming out. Yet some won't even think it's remotely possible. Maybe you're blinded by hatred. Of someone you've never met. What's he done to you that provokes so much hate?
DJT takes no salary. BHO walks away with 2 multi million dollar houses.
Magic beans??? Door heights?? Your snarkiness needs work.
Jim,
Nothing points to DJT? And Russian collusion? During the 2016 campaign Trump asked, on live television, for Russian help to find the 33,000 missing emails. Other people associated with the Trump campaign (evidenced by convictions of Manafort, Gates, Cohen, Flynn, and 30 other individuals and 3 companies) tried or were successful in colluding with Russia. But no one would directly implicate Trump in planning or implementing of the plot.
Now in the Ukraine situation, the evidence shows that Trump himself has asked for a foreign country for assistance for information detrimental to a political opponent. But your side screams there was no quid pro quo! Even though Mulvaney claimed there was not, he also said that the arms Ukraine wanted would be given and the Ukraine would conduct the Biden investigation. The very definition of quid pro quo: I’ll do this for you and you do this for me.
You can argue “no quid pro quo,” but that isn’t the point. Trump ASKED a foreign government to conduct an investigation that would harm an opponent. The transcript of the “perfect conversation” indicates this fact. And remember, Trump himself has claimed the the transcript is correct, “word for word, comma for comma.” That is the crux of this dilemma. Inviting a foreign power to become involved in a United States election by providing political information detrimental to an opponent.
The argument that Trump was asking for an investigation into Ukrainian corruption is laughable. To infer that Trump was concerned about the corruption of an ally on one hand, while abandoning the Kurds at the same time is ludicrous. Only those that are continuously defending Trump, with all his failings, are those that are the willfully blind.
As a person, Trump has proven himself to be pompous, self-centered, a compulsive liar, an unreliable ally, and generally unfit to be the leader of a nuclear nation.
You ask others to open their eyes, yet the right squints so hard that they block information that is in front of them.
Dale
Dale is correct: Trump's asking Ukraine to investigate his political rivals is the crime. It is soliciting an in-kind donation from a foreign government.
Think of it as akin to hiring a hitman. The hiring itself is the crime. The victim need not be harmed.
Why does the republic party hate the military so much? Before trump nobody accused John McCain of being anything except a war hero.
No politician before trump could get away with smearing a gold star family because they were immigrants, but his cultists like Jim and Glenn forgive trump any treason.
Like purple heart recipient army officer Vindland who the trumpists are smearing right now.
These people have no shame and no patriotism.
Trump is a traitor. Trumpists, bet me trump's 1040 forms show no Russian bribery. Oh, right, we'll never see them.

According to the second circuit we will.
Unintended consequences:
Since the second circuit (and every other court so far) has ruled that, no, the "absolute immunity" your lawyers pulled out of their asses isn't really a thing and the subpoenas demanding your taxes are valid and lawful, a theme of sorts seems to be emerging:
The judges have all had all they care to hear about the OLC memos Fergus' legal team keep claiming support such preposterous attempts to shield Fergus from not just indictment, but investigation as well.
The judges have made note that 1) OLC is DOJ is executive branch and therefore not binding on their work in the judiciary, 2) indictment does not equal investigation and investigation was just ducky when it was Bill Clinton being investigated, and (unintended consequence)3) no court has ever affirmed those OLC memos, and we're starting to think they may be, if I may use a legal term here, horseshit.
So it will be a bit of delicious irony if Fergus' desperate attempt at hiding his obvious culpability behind a pair of 45 year old OLC memos results most importantly in those memos being rejected wholesale by the judiciary as it takes his "absolute immunity" and sticks it back in his butt where it came from.
