This guy at a recent farm market in Alexandria, VA:
Jeans shorts, head down, yakking on a cell phone, AR with a cheap-jack scope, a bipod, and a front sight that blocks out the scope. A true fucking nimrod. Nobody who is on the fence about gun rights will jump to favoring gun rights when seeing clowns like this. They'll go the other way.
Fucktards like this guy and his girlfriend are helping to make the case for restrictions.
The Alexandria Farmer's Market takes on city property, so Virginia's open-carry laws control.
My bet is that they will hold the market in the future on private property, so they can ban these rifle-toting attention whores.
Good going, morons.

From the looks of that fitment hazard of an AR-15, this fella is a just a poser but then aren't all open carry dweebs mostly just posers?
I built 3 ARs(2 in 5.56 & 1 in 300 AAC) after the '16 election, having not fired such a platform since the early '70s, I came to the reluctant conclusion that I and my downtown community might have need of such in the future. I like your blog very much but I have AR-15's for one purpose only, self defense against a similarly armed group. I would sell them or give them up in an instant should the situation require that. My much more useful other firearms, not so much...
The only possible excuse is it one of those gun-banners posing as one of us.
There is nothing about that rifle that makes any combined sense. So
it must he a Feinstein, with that thing that goes up.
Eck!
Eck!, that sounds suspiciously Republican...
Eck, I think that the default explanation should be "stupidity" over "conspiracy".
It was a planned demonstration.
Jezzzzzz, looks like the Open Carry Texas crowd is metastasizing.
I can go with stupidity and blame it on demcraps. For other
than no good reason. ;)
Eck!
Murc's Law: Only Democrats have agency or any causal impact on American politics.
You guys wanted open carry in the worse way, and now your dream has come true.
I'm not afraid of guns, but someone displaying that poor of judgement while carrying that sort of gun would make me want to leave the area.

Doug, as would I.
One of the rules I try to live by is to avoid places where there are stupid people doing stupid things. An event being co-opted by the Open Carry Attention Whores qualifies.
