The Candle Done Lit

SpaceX's Crew Dragon launched earlier this morning, with a recovery of the first stage.

SpaceX 3, Boeing 0.

Boeing is kind of flailing around, trying to schedule launching a second test of its Starliner.

It was an awesome launch !
Our house is only twenty miles from the cape , so we always have good viewing when one goes up. This time the rising sun illuminated the plume of the decending 1st stage booster. Each correction burn vividly observable against the pre dawn darkness.
Normally you can't see any of this on a daytime launch.
