Not at ABC News, where stenography rules.
There is credible intelligence that members of Mexican drug cartels have offered a "tiered" bounty system for hits against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
It should be obvious to anyone that DHS is scrambling for any rationale to crack down on the protests and to give Cadet Bone Spurs a justification to send in the military. Accepting a DHS press release as factual on any matter, especially one of this gravity, is nothing short of journalistic malpractice.
The reporters and editors involved should be sent to small-market stations to cover road accidents and school board hearings in order to properly learn their craft.

Unconstitutional as being cruel and unusual punishment....
Reasons to treat the report as propaganda... No evidence of due diligence,
Rethug performance art, DSH/ICE propaganda. No evidence of of any intent to protect the masses, likely a reason to shoot them.
Eck!
