Come and Get Me, Clapper! I Ain't Afraid of Ya, See!

In testimony before congress General James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence, labeled the journalists whom Edward Snowden worked with to blow the whistle on the NSA as “accomplices.” A term that makes those journalists legitimate targets for surveillance, if not worse.

Now the war on whistleblowers has expanded to include the press.
So what does Jimmy the Perjurer think of bloggers who have been writing about the Snowden Revelations? Is he saying that he is going to go after Firedog Lake, or Emptywheel or Bruce Schneier or Matthew Green or Borepatch?

Or me? Or you, if you've been blogging about the NSA's Stasi-like* activities?

Is he threatening all of us?

(Nice NSA parody, by the way.)

It's not like the bastards aren't watching us already and know who and where we are.

How many.GOV hits do you see in your stats?

I know for a fact they have been keeping an eye on me for several years.

I found it to be quite funny that back when I was railing about that piece of shit Lieberman at The Ornery Bastard, every time I posted a diatribe about that prick I would see a hit or two from the Sargent of Arms for the U.S. Senate.

Every time and only when it was about Lieberman.

That was how long ago now?

Either he had a fan boy in that office or else someone else there hated his ass too.

I have all kinds of .MIL and .GOV hits now. Even Ft. Meade and we all know who that is.

So yeah, they are watching and I wouldn't put it past them for one second to go after a Blogger they thought was causing them too much discomfort.

I am always surprised that Emptywheel hasn't gone MIA.

Marcy sure digs the shit up on those assholes!
LOL!

The Australia Prime Minister (sortof like your President) yesterday called Snowden a traitor and wants to muzzle the ABC (similar to your NPR news network) for even daring to report news about Snowden.
This surveillance and 'security' crap is spreading worldwide I fear.
