It Just Keeps Getting Better and Better; Murdoch Edition

Rebekah Brooks, who up until two days ago was president of Murdoch's News International Corp., was arrested and interrogated at Scotland Yard.

Meanwhile, the head of the London Metro Police (aka Scotland Yard) has stepped down over allegations that the cops were too damn cozy with Murdoch's people. I don't know how many people are going to buy the time-worn line of "I'm quitting under fire although I didn't do a damn thing wrong."

Now this is a real shocker: The British member of parliament who is going to be investigating this mess is a close friend of the Murdochs. I'm certain that he'll be shocked, shocked, to find out what has been going on.
