I miss when Rachael Ray was actually hot and not so annoying that we had to watch her on mute.
Can't speak to that. I don't watch the Food Network.
She used to be quite the cutie. The missus and I enjoyed watching the earlier episodes of 30 Min Meals and $40 a day. She had this natural, fun vibe about her. While her FHM photo shoot seemed pretty out-of-character, she still looked pretty hot.
Then she had this whole "gimme highlights" makeover, developed a smoking-induced gravelly voice, and cranked up this fake "yummo" personality. She quickly crossed the line into grating and obnoxious.
My vote for "Hottest Chick on Food Network" is very much in Giada De Laurentiis' corner. That woman's a stunner and an excellent chef (unlike Ray, who's just a "cook"). A close second is the lovely Brit Nigella Lawson, whose show isn't on nearly enough. I can definitely appreciate a woman who is not only physically attractive, but creatively and technically proficient in her field. Eye candy bores me.
I hate Rachel Ray, but I think that a) it's not a keffiyeh to begin with, and even if it was, b) she's too dumb to know the difference.
