While I probably won't shed a tear if this guy winds up being executed, it does bother me that this nation is really good at hammering the shit out of the little guys while giving the big boys a pass.
The soldiers involved in the Abu Ghraib atrocities went to prison. The people who instituted policies which encouraged the torturing of prisoners, policies which gave rise to the atrocities committed at Abu Ghraib, are likely to escape any reckoning for their actions.
The banks and the financial institutions who bear the lion's share of blame for wrecking the global economy receive bailout after bailout while the Senate cannot see its way clear to offer any relief to the homeowners. The regulators are in bed with those they regulate and they see nothing wrong with that (until they get exposed by the press).
"Moral hazard", like criminal legal penalties, are for the average person to suffer. That may be the way it has always been, but that does not make it right.

With the now confirmed allegations that Pelosi and many other Democrats were briefed...and did exactly NOTHING about the torture, we now have a pretty clear picture of why we are seeing no rush to justice. These fucking bastards. I'm so outraged over what these cretins did to our nation, I don't have the words to describe my feelings.
