Oh, No, Not Another Fraking Video Clip!

I'm not terribly happy with the way the Starbuck character has developed, but she was pretty messed up on New Caprica once the Cylons took over there. In the initial mini-series, when she clocked the XO during a card game, I just cheered.

The writing of Battlestar Galactica has been mainly outstanding. The arc of the New Caprica episodes tacked the issue of terrorism straight on. The show has dealt with a lot of very adult and very difficult themes in a way that few shows outside of HBO have dared to do. If you have not seen this show because you have bad memories of the cheesy 1970's version, do yourself a favor: Go rent the 2003 miniseries and then start watching the shows from the beginning of Season 1.
