At least 274 Palestinians, including dozens of children, were killed, and hundreds more were wounded, in the Israeli raid that rescued four hostages held by Hamas, Gaza’s Health Ministry said Sunday. The Israeli military said its forces came under heavy fire and responded during the complex daytime operation in central Gaza.
This is what happens when a terrorist group decides to hide its hostages among its own population and use their own people as human shields.
Anyone who thinks that we wouldn't have done the same thing needs to rethink that. If we could have gotten our Iranian hostages back by flattening half of Tehran in the process, that would have been a "go".

ReplyDeleteIf I had been head of the Cleveland police, and ordered an operation that rescued all of them, while killing over 200 innocent people, including dozens of children, in the process, the entire state of Ohio would have been howling for my head, and rightfully so.
If members of PFLP had rescued 4 children, none of whom had been charged with anything, from Israeli prisons, and killed over 200 innocent people, including dozens of children, in the process, you would be yelling about PFLP's evilness, and rightfully so.
So why should we praise the IDF here?

Comparing a police operation to a military operation is a false equivalence. I suspect that you are aware of that.
