Your Sunday Morning Turboprop Noise

Four C-130s on the (sub-)Mach Loop:

  1. That was pretty cool. The Blue Angels should use C-130's.

I really like the house by the lake at the end of the Mach Loop. It's beautiful, but it must be like living next to a busy airport. I'm sure the thrill of seeing all those fighters rip by wears thin pretty quickly.

  2. I live in a somewhat remote canyon in the Ca. foothills. Every once in a while a C130, likely out of the Sacramento area will do a below the canyon rim flight. Just to keep us on our toes I guess. We can tell it's a C130 because the whole house rumbles while it speeds by.
A massive thing to see that close, low, and fast.
