Donald Trump is now accusing President Barack Obama of founding the Islamic State group that is wreaking havoc from the Middle East to European cities.And what's the headline for this story?
"In many respects, you know, they honor President Obama," Trump said Wednesday during a raucous campaign rally outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. "He is the founder of ISIS."
He repeated the allegation three more times for emphasis.

So, for another news cycle or two or three, the focus again is going to be on the recurring story of "Stupid Shit Said by Donald Trump". Because only a few seconds of research will reveal that ISIS was (a) founded in 1999, and that (b) President Obama was an Illinois state senator at the time. Which is hardly a position of power and influence, at least outside of the state's borders.*
At this point, as much as the Right Wing Noise Machine blathers on about Clinton's emails and whatnot, it barely matters. The narrative of this election, which the Clinton campaign has only had to nudge along, is that Donald Trump is a dangerously unhinged racist who is drooling at the chance to use nuclear weapons.
