The GOP has been playing the whites since Nixon's southern strategy and Reagan kicked off his campaign by figuratively pissing on the graves of civil rights marchers. They tell white folk that they're in their corner, but all they do is glom on to their votes, stab them in the back, ship their jobs overseas and give more and more tax breaks to the wealthy.
