I'm Not That Smart

But I have been telling people in my social circle for the last two years that the 2024 election would be The Old Incumbent President versus the Old Heavily Indicted Former President. I've said as much here.

The question is whether or not the Two Traitor Joes will try to throw a monkeywrench into things in order to elevate the TOFF. Both of those self-inflated jerkoffs are almost as old as the other two guys in the race.

Most Americans say that they did not want a repeat of the 2020 contest. But so what? Republicans have drunk the Kool-aid from the poisoned chalice of Dolt-45. Democrats know that history is that if someone posts a serious challenge to a sitting incumbent, the incumbent goes on to lose. So unless President Biden was going to step down, it was game on. And he might have stepped down if the Toff had done the right thing and retired to his gilded bathroom. But he wasn't going to turn away from another opportunity to beat the Putinite Asset.

The outcome of the NH primary should give a rational Republican something to worry about. Six in ten Republicans said they'd vote for Commandante Bone Spurs. That's not enough to do anything for him other than to give him a second defeat (and a third loss of the popular vote). If it goes that way, then the Democrats will also retain the Senate and retake the House.

What will also happen is that El Caudillo de Mar-a-Lago will try to get his light-in-the-loafers to cause trouble, which will give more employment to Federal prison guards.

  2. Re Dems....
True we don't seem to place good drinking buddies and demagogues up in the spotlight, true, we try to determine the facts and think about (and value) people Who Aren't Like Us. And we belong to No Organized Party.

We rarely seem to find people who can talk on a gut level with the salt of the earth. Bill Clinton was one....he couldn't keep his pants zipped but got crucified for the sort of stuff Trump does daily and in spades. And Biden's actually pretty good, but he's been big-Lied into being perceived as useless. Have to wonder how lacking KH really is, or if she's just in an abusive relationship with MSM and Faux News. Pile on everybody.....but never, ever call the Right and its clowns to any sort of reckoning. Syphilitics, bigots and pinheads of the world, unite! You have nothing gain but your chains.

Hiho...here I am asking for the American populace to make intelligent, even self-interested, choices. Good luck with that. The Lord won't save us from the Hindbrains of America

  3. If T**** wins the Republican nomination (which now seems inevitable) we can expect more shrill noise from FOX, Newsmax, and all the other right leaning outlets.

I am wondering if anyone else saw on FOX the five conservative leaning hosts go against the one liberal panelist? At first, the conservatives allowed her to discuss the issue of T****'s New Hampshire win. As she pointed out that Trump only had 54% of the Republican vote, she stated it wouldn't be enough for him to be elected as Democrats, many Independents, and many of the other 46% Republicans would choose Biden. She made the claim that those that did vote for T**** in the primary were mostly MAGATs. She then sat as one panelist gave his opinion. When she offered a rebuttal, she was interrupted and talked over by the other five. There were so many talking at once, nobody could articulate their position clearly.

I have seen some of this same behavior on the Sunday morning news shows, but not to this extreme. Most of the time, an interruption is to correct a misstatement or outright lie being spoken. This lack of respect was very disheartening to observe.

  5. Will Rogers is quoted as saying, "I am not a member of any political party. I am a Democrat." My personal belief is that he might have meant that about their messaging and campaigning skills. Republicans are better than the Democrats at campaigning (Lying) but fail to deliver when it comes to policy. It's kinda sad but so many Americans want 'Bread and circuses' instead of boring facts.
