The House on Wednesday authorized the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, with every Republican rallying behind the politically charged process despite lingering concerns among some in the party that the investigation has yet to produce evidence of misconduct by the president.
The 221-212 party-line vote put the entire House Republican conference on record in support of an impeachment process that can lead to the ultimate penalty for a president: punishment for what the Constitution describes as “high crimes and misdemeanors,” which can lead to removal from office if convicted in a Senate trial.
The latter isn't going to happen. If the Senate wasn't going to convict the TOFF after he sent a mob to storm the Capitol, it sure as shit isn't going to convict President Biden because the TOFF has ordered it. Gym Jordan hasn't been able to find any misconduct so far, but to be fair, he couldn't exactly find misconduct when he was a coach at Ohio State.
No evidence, but their Orange Jesus has demanded they proceed and so they shall. Not a single one of them has an shred of integrity, let alone courage. There is not a single House Republican who has anything resembling a spine or gonads. They are the largest pack of gutless critters known to science.
This is a waste of time with Gym Jordan and the whole GOP criminals. They like hanging in DC, they like their pages and assistants, they have an unhealthy fixation with the Freedom Caucus, they prefer to not know what is happening in the country. Probably they would like to put us all in camps or zones.
ReplyDeleteOK, so they've made impeachment into an entirely political process. Now we have to hang that vote around the necks of all 18 of them in districts that Biden won in 2020. The redistricting ruling in New York has most likely taken control of the house away from them at the end of this congress, so I guess they're just trying to see how much shit they can start before 2025?

Well said.
ReplyDeleteNot like there is anything "important" that Congress could be doing, nooooo. No evidence, no problem, they've got no brains anyway. I'm surprised they didn't start with the trial since they are so set on hanging him. It's sickening how they are so set to impeach a good and honest President. They just can't stand anything "good" can they?
