The letter follows CCDH research published in June, which studied the propagation of hate speech on the social media platform since Musk’s buyout. In one report looking at 100 different accounts subscribed to Twitter Blue, CCDH found that X Corp. failed to act on 99% of hate posted by the subscribers and questioned whether the social media platform’s algorithm boosts “toxic tweets.”
Other CCDH research found that the social media company failed to act on 89% of anti-Jewish hate speech and 97% of anti-Muslim hate speech on the platform.
Maybe if Crybaby is upset that advertisers are fleeing his hate-enabled platform, he should do something about the stread of hate speech on his rusting new toy instead of threatening those who are reporting about it.
One can only hope that Crybaby has as much success in court as does the TOFF.

ReplyDeleteIf Elmo "Brain Wizard" Mush wants the advertising revenue back, perhaps he'll start letting people without accounts read his platform again. Those are eyeballs that can be sold to advertisers, whether or not he has turned the site into a flaming pit of right wing lies and insanity. Which is much like the internet it lives on: yes, there are very bad things on there, and one must learn how to avoid them in order to get any real value out of it. I don't find it that difficult to find value on the internet. Also, I've never had a Twitter or Facebook account, and perhaps that is part of it.

Mr Big Stuff, who do you think you are? It is a vanity project for him. He bought the big toy, and now nobody wants to play. I don't know, would you like to play with that guy?
ReplyDeleteAlso, what is it with this X? Why not just call him X Musk? He keeps saying X this and X that, why not just call him X?
He has almost as much money as God, he doesn't have to be the way he is, but now he wants us to love X? That is messed up.
