Lucas smoke replacement kit gag is maybe 60 years old or more. With their single digit MTBF, Lucas electrics would get your attention during nighttime driving, hence Lucas, Prince of Darkness. The early Minis had a couple of fuses for everything...but then there wasn't much in the early Minis.
