Today, Gracie would be just a few months shy of her 25th birthday. So, one way or another, she would have been gone. But I still miss her.

  3. My housemate Zsuzs buried her cat Squeaker day before yesterday. He was ten, and a proud scion of an illustrious family of junkyard cats.

  4. The cat is a confidant, keeping secret the joys and pain we choose to share. On that same note, our cats are glad to share space with us regardless of how good or bad the day unfolds. The do not judge.

  6. It's why we are on our last cat. The hurt gets too hard after awhile.
