Capitaine Renault-Trump

It's pretty clear that Trump, possibly the worst detective in history, is willing to accept the denial of Saudi Prince Bone Saw that Bone Saw had nothing to do with the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

I can see the script of CSI-Trump:


Trump: You're under arrest for multiple homicides

Crook: I didn't do it, see? I'm as innocent as a new-born babe, see?

Trump: Good enough for me. You're free to go.

The difference between Capitaine Renault and Trump is that, when push came to shove, Renault did the right thing. The one thing you can count on Trump to do is sprain his arm, patting himself on the back.
