After two weeks of shifting stories, Saudi Arabia said Saturday that its agents strangled Jamal Khashoggi, a dissident journalist, during a fistfight inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul and that 18 men had been arrested in the case. ... President Trump on Friday night said that Saudi Arabia’s statements were credible...Except that the statements are in no wise credible. They are almost certainly utter lies. Trump has been told as much.
But Trump doesn't care. He is as utterly amoral a man who has occupied the Oval Office since Nixon and is possibly the most corrupt since Harding. Nixon did a lot of things, but as far as I know, he didn't help cover up the murder of a journalist.
Trump his doing just that. He is an accessory to the murder of a legal American resident after the fact. It is becoming abundantly clear that there is nothing too low or evil for Trump to stoop to.
The FAA made news in 2011 when it used the figure of $6,000,000 to value a human for the purposes of safety evaluation. The U.S. government in general was using between $7,000,000 and $9,000,000 per life as a guideline for decisions, but that news is pre-Donnie. I have to believe the true, factored value of human lives in this Administration is far lower, and doubt that Donnie would trade a box of tic-tacs for a journalist.
ReplyDeleteNow, the reporter "started a fight"? Oh sure he did. Look at the guy, a real brawler type, all pudgy like that. I bet he had a wife beater T shirt on under his robes too.

Sure being pudgy and doughy looking throws your opponents off their game. Real men have slumping shoulders and fat asses just take a look at our manly president.
ReplyDeleteWhaddya mean, he didn't start a fight? He was fighting so hard that all his fingers accidentally fell off. And even then he kept on fighting so hard that his head accidentally fell off. And even then he kept on fighting so hard that all the rest of his body parts fell off. He was so ferocious that he had to go home in six separate suitcases.
