Some bloggers that I admired have gone west since then: Jeff Huber. Lurch. William the Coroner. Frank James. Jon Swift. Neptunus Rex.
A blog by a "sucker" and a "loser" who served her country in the Navy.
If you're one of the Covidiots who believe that COVID-19 is "just the flu",

Happy blogiversary. Some of my favorite political bloggers have marked such milestones this year, and a few others last. It seems like a lot of them got going in the wake of the 2004 election.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorta hoping that will happen this time too, there are a lot of talented, energetic folks out there right about now.
I don't know if I've been around the whole time, but definitely since 2008.
And thank you once again for running this place, it's unique, enjoyable, and informative.

ReplyDeleteI don't get here everyday, but when I do, I am never disappointed. And just now, I read you posting about Glocks and why you dislike them. I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I have had gun people on different blogs tell me what a complete asshole I am because I think that someone carrying a Glock in an AIWB holster has a death wish. I tried to get someone to explain why it was ok to violate at least one, if not more of the supposed 4 sacred rules of firearm safety. I felt like I had besmirched the chastity of someones teenage daughter. I was told that I didn't know what I didn't know. And if I knew who I was asking that question, I would never have asked it, etc. So thank you for at least being one who, at least at one time, felt like a Glock was not the safest weapon available. It is NOT like carrying a revolver. Unless you carry your revolver cocked all the time. Anyway, sorry for the rant, and happy ten years, hope you have many more.
