Vice President Mike Pence routinely used a private email account to conduct public business as governor of Indiana, at times discussing sensitive matters and homeland security issues.I don't need to snark on this one. It'd be as easy as shooting a penned chicken.
Emails released to IndyStar in response to a public records request show Pence communicated via his personal AOL account with top advisers on topics ranging from security gates at the governor’s residence to the state’s response to terror attacks across the globe. In one email, Pence’s top state homeland security adviser relayed an update from the FBI regarding the arrests of several men on federal terror-related charges.

COMMENT MODERATION IS IN EFFECT UFN. This means that if you are an insulting dick, nobody will ever see it.
Hypocrisy and Intermediate Hypocrisy are required of all politicians of any party. Advanced Hypocrisy is required for Republicans.
ReplyDeleteI read that Pruitt used a private email for government business, also.

Yawn.....So did Hillary.....
ReplyDeleteAnd she used it for Top secret shit. In violation of the law.
And she got hacked too....
Wasn't a big deal for you folks then....why now?
Oh, yeah, double standards. I get it....
Really, B? I would think that those who were the most vocal against Hillary for using a private email server and an unsecured personal cell phone would the the least likely ones to duplicate the same. You know, the old glass houses - throwing stones thingy.

B., the point is hypocrisy. As for illegal, well that's not so clear...for either one of them.
ReplyDeleteAO freaking L?
ReplyDeleteAnonymity through obscurity and all that - but didn't anyone tell him we don't party like it's 1999 anymore?
If he'd had a Yahoo email account, he'd have some fig leaf of cover...
