The cases are being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney for D.C., which puts this squarely on Trump's plate. Trump is big on using the legal system to slap down unfavorable reportage, so expect these cases to go all the way to trial.
Actually, it's unfair to say that this is "Russian-Grade Bullshit". Putin would have had them killed.
