Prosecutors in Tulsa, Oklahoma, charged a white police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black man on a city street with first-degree manslaughter Thursday.Or maybe they realized that trying to sweep this under the rug was not an option, not after the last one there.
Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler filed the charge less than a week after officer Betty Shelby shot and killed 40-year-old Terence Crutcher on Sept. 16. Kunzweiler said arrangements were being made for Shelby's surrender.

Tulsa has some history to deal with. Or not.

I've been watching his one a bit more then the Charlotte incident. I'm kind of surprised at how fast this moved to prosecution. I might be wrong but I think that while the Officers career is finished there won't be a conviction in the end. Of course there will be a civil liabilities payout to the deceased subjects family. Hopefully toxicology reports will come out soon, past histories already are.
