Who's the Cat that Won't Drop Out, When There's Danger All About?

Tara! Can you dig it?

She saved the day, making the national news.

They say that cat Tara is a bad mother....

  1. Excellent tactics by the cat too. Full body hit to knock the dog back, charge to rout the disoriented dog. Follow around the SUV to make sure the dog doesn't double back, but then as the dog exits the property she quickly returns to protect the boy. Then a prudent retreat as the tail gunner before the bigger animal gets it back together.

A nicely executed ambush of a larger force and successful use of force in a situation where anything less than full on assault would likely go poorly.

The best details that the local news broadcast had was that the cat was a stray that was adopted 6 years ago. That being said, I'm not a fan of outdoor cats, too many risks....but thankfully this little ball of fury was there when she was needed.

  2. This video definitely made my day. Pointy at five ends for the win! BTW, the reason the mother (and the cat) were heading around the front of the car as the boy scrambled for the front door of the house was that the dog was coming back, and they were heading it off.

  3. +1 to centerpuke's comment, that cat knows what's up. Someone earned their tuna that day!
