Bravo for the House (So Far); NSA Edition

The White House urged House members to vote against a measure from Representative Justin Amash, a Michigan Republican, that would stop the NSA siphoning up the telephone records of millions of Americans without suspicion of a crime.
The measure cleared the House Rules Committee, which set off a flurry of lobbying by the Administration and Emperor NSA Director Alexander.

The goal of the spooks is plain: Delay this issue until they can divert the public's attention elsewhere, then continue on with business as usual. Amash has the better idea: Stop the spooks now and thus force them to come to the table to hash things out.
