  2. Hence Texas, Arkansa and Alabama's "modifications" of their history books where they stop when the civil war ends and slavery is not mentioned! In two maybe three generations those two critical peices of American history will be totally obliterated....Allan

  4. I for one do NOT want to be a part of the 18th or 19th Century. I was quite happy with the 20th Century and I am looking forward to a better part of the 21rst Century than we are currently having. Jefferson had the right ideas way back then and I see No reason to change the system to placate Tex-ass. Critical thinking is an obvious good trait of our species, only an 'Ostrich' would think otherwise.

  5. I disagree with w3ski. If the people are able to think for themselves, before you know it they'll be governing themselves. And where does that leave the rest of us in the governing class?
