ReplyDeleteWilliam, I would have to guess that there was someone who died in a home with cats and that the only food available for the cats was the corpse of the dearly departed.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a story I heard: There was a wife with a very abusive husband. He shot her to death and then turned the gun on himself. The bodies were not discovered for a few days. They had cats and dogs. The animals left her body alone and they ate his.
